Ufa University President Visits NIGEB
Scientific Collaboration with Russia from 2014 to 2024
Iran-Russia Scientific Collaboration
- On September 29, 2014, the Kazan Federal University in Russia and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding for scientific collaboration. This agreement, attended by Dr. Linar Nailyevich Latipov, the Deputy International Relations of the university, and the scientific liaison from the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia, marked the beginning of knowledge and technology exchange between the two countries.
- Subsequently, on November 25, 2014, a letter expressing readiness to initiate joint research projects was sent. Additionally, after receiving a letter from Mr. Mehdi Sanaei, the Iranian Ambassador to Russia, on December 2, 2014, the feasibility of collaboration with the State University of St. Petersburg was explored.
- On January 4, 2016, Professor Rustem Islamov, the head of the Biology Department at Kazan Federal University, visited our institute to discuss gene therapy for neural lesions and the differentiation of neural stem cells from adipose tissue.
- Furthermore, on April 21, 2024, the President of Ufa University of Science and Technology in Russia and an accompanying delegation visited our institute.
- Finally, Dr. Kamal al-Din Haghbeen, the head of the International Scientific Cooperation Center at our institute, participated in a joint meeting with the President and Vice Presidents of HSE University on April 22, 2024, at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
